Keep what you've got, regrow what you can. Combines the two most proven hair ingredients — minoxidil and finasteride — in a single daily topical spray. About as evidence-backed as hair care gets.
Why this combination
Minoxidil extends the hair-growth phase and improves follicle blood supply; finasteride lowers DHT, the hormone behind male-pattern loss. Two independent, complementary mechanisms — the gold-standard pairing. Topical finasteride aims for benefit with less systemic exposure than the pill.
What to expect
Both have decades of randomized-trial support for slowing loss and regrowing hair. Realistic timeline: consistent daily use for several months before judging, and a brief early shed is common before regrowth. Benefits fade if you stop.
Risks & considerations
Scalp irritation is most common. Finasteride can cause sexual side effects in a minority of men (usually reversible, rarely persistent); mood changes reported; topical delivery reduces but doesn't eliminate systemic absorption. Minoxidil rarely affects heart rate/blood pressure if over-absorbed. Finasteride lowers PSA (relevant to prostate screening) and must be kept away from women who may become pregnant.
